Plot of the film "The 355"
What to do when someone creates a hard drive capable of hacking into any computer system in the world? It can crash planes, disable entire power grids, block communication networks, and you never know what else. Sending the best government agents to steal it seems like a reasonable expectation. Unfortunately, not only one government wants to get the disk. It's all of them. The United States is sending a CIA agent named Mace. She works in a team with Khadija from the British MI6. Marie works for the secret intelligence service of Germany. China is represented by Lin Mi Sheng. And the psychologist Graciela was sent by Colombia (where the disk comes from). At first there is no love lost between this international team of female agents. But after realizing that they have one goal - to prevent the drive from falling into the hands of terrorists, they decide to work together. After all, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. The women of the 355 group feel lonely for most of the film. They all faced betrayal and losses. However, working together, they gradually discover camaraderie and kinship. After all, despite the fact that they "look different and speak differently," they have the same goal. It goes without saying, but I will still say that each of these women is ready to put their lives on the line to save others and save the world. And you don't need to be an expert on espionage to determine the not-too-subtle message of the film "355" about female empowerment (albeit very cruel, as we will see). We, the audience, are invited to perceive male chauvinism and sexism as something disgusting, as, for example, in one of the scenes where one man insults another for being "beaten up by a bunch of girls." Someone notices that when "you live in a lie, it's hard to understand what is true and what is not."
