SAS: Rogue Heroes

A historical drama by Stephen Knight based on a true story. The miniseries is also based on the novel SAS: Heroes Unknown by author Ben McIntyre. The plot of the picture tells about the bloody war that took place around the world. The British government, as well as their loyal allies, were forced to intervene in this confrontation, sending their soldiers to different parts of the world. Fighting enemies in Asia and Western Europe, many of the politicians simply forgot about North Africa, which became for the Nazis an oil depot of enormous size and an object for important active actions. To repulse Nazi henchmen in Egypt and Libya, the British military were forced to send all reserves into battle. In doing so, they have achieved considerable success. But it was not possible to drive the enemy away from territories favorable to him. David Sterling, who went to war as a volunteer, was the heir to a great military line. He could not imagine that he would end up in North Africa and be seriously wounded in the first battle. David noticed that the divisions sent by the British to this sector of the front were not very professionally trained and did not cope with the tasks. Realizing this, the young officer creates his own battalion of fighters, called "SAS", which could become not only an elite unit, but also a thunderstorm of all Nazis.
