Synchronic

Steve and Dennis are two best friends who work together as paramedics. Steve is a single bachelor who can't start a relationship, and Dennis got married young and has two children 18 years apart. Recently, Steve and Dennis have been responding frequently to 911 calls related to a new designer drug called Synchron. Meanwhile, Steve is diagnosed with a brain tumor on the pineal gland. His doctor casually mentions that Steve's pineal gland looks more like a teenager's than an adult's, which may mean that Steve has an enlightened third eye. What a funny and funny thing a doctor can say to a cancer patient! Steve and Dennis answer another call where a package of Synchro drugs was found, this time in a group of teenagers who took too many drugs. Among these teenagers was Dennis' 18-year-old daughter Brianna, who went missing. Steve, in a fit of anger, goes to a local head shop and buys them out of the Synchronica, presumably to protect other people. A man follows him out of the store, begging to buy it from him, but Steve refuses. Later that night, the same man shows up at Steve's house and tells him that he created Synchronic as a DMT-like drug using a red flower growing in the California desert.
