No Time to Die

The film opens with a flashback. Young Madeleine Swan takes care of her sick mother, while a masked man approaches their house. Madeleine sees a man in the window and runs for cover. The man enters the house, introduces himself to her mother as Lucifer Safin and says that he came for Mr. White, since he killed Safin's family. When Madeleine's mother can't give him an answer, Safin shoots her. Madeleine hides under the bed, and Safin goes in search of her. She shoots him and drags his body outside, but he turns out to be alive. Madeleine starts running across the icy lake until she falls into the water. Safin can't bring himself to let the girl die, so he shoots the ice and pulls her out. Fast forward to the present, where Madeleine lives with James Bond in Matera, they have a romantic relationship. Although they are both happy together, Madeleine knows that Bond is still thinking about Vesper Lind, who, as she points out, is buried next to them. She urges to let her go, doing the same with her memory of Safin, writing "the masked man" in French on a piece of paper and burning it. The next morning, Bond goes to Vesper's grave to finally forgive her. He also prepared a piece of paper for burning, on which it is written "forgive me". Before leaving, Bond sees SPECTRE's business card nearby, and a few seconds later the tomb explodes.
