Plot of the film "Red Dot"
Directed by Alain Darborg, "Red Dot" is a Swedish thriller, voiced in Swedish. Subtitles will help you understand the movie better. This is a simple story about a couple David and Nadia who go on a romantic trip to a snowy area of Northern Sweden to restore their marital relations. When they arrive, their attention is attracted by a series of unpleasant events. David, leaving the gas station, makes a dent on the hunter's truck. The couple quickly leaves this place and stays at a hotel. Nadia is a black woman, and in the northern regions of Sweden she faces racism. When they discover a racist message written on their car's license plate the next day, Nadia is furious. She thinks it was done by hunters whose car they accidentally dented. Nadia takes revenge on them by scratching their car with a screwdriver. When they are enjoying a moment in a tent in the snow, a red dot suddenly appears on their body. They come out of the tent and find that the red dot continues to move to different parts of the body, but the gun or scissors are not visible in the thick fog. The bloodshed begins. They are being chased by an unknown predator who threatens David and Nadia, mercilessly shooting at them. Later in the film, it turns out who this unknown predator is and why he is trying to shoot a couple. While they are speculating and suspecting that it is racist hunters who are chasing them, the climax of the film takes place somewhat differently.
