Plot of the film "Don't Make Me Go"
In the center of the plot is the story of a single father Max Parker, from whom his wife left many years ago. The relationship with her daughter is going well, but the girl grows up and starts a young man, then communication begins to become more complicated. Max understands that as a father he must mentor and support his child in any situation. However, fate has its own plans for this family. The main character is diagnosed with an incurable disease – a brain tumor. The operation does not promise a favorable outcome, he has about a year to live. Then it becomes clear to Max that he cannot control what is happening to him, but he can change his actions and attitude to his life, and most importantly, he needs to take care of the future of his daughter Wally. Under the pretext of a reunion, he offers Wally a trip to New Orleans. There he hopes to find his wife and make her promise to take care of their daughter. On this trip, the father tries to transfer the entire life experience to his daughter in a short time. However, Wally also teaches his father to listen to his heart, not to keep emotions to himself, to surrender to every moment and not be afraid to take risks. The film is filled with dramatic moments and family warmth that will not leave anyone indifferent.
