Plot of the film "Bumblebee"
Here, on the good old planet Earth, the big-shouldered 80s are in full swing. The British band Tears for Fears' song "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" is playing on the radio. But in deep space, on the war-torn planet Cybertron, this existential musical meditation has a concrete reality. In an apocalyptic confrontation, evil Decepticon robots are fighting for dominance on their mechanized planet, and the Autobot heroes opposing them are barely holding on. In fact, things are so bad on Cybertron that the strongest and most courageous leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime, is ready to give up the whole thing. In the midst of an incessant explosive maelstrom of flaming lasers and collapsing steel, Optimus turns to his most loyal lieutenant - a yellow robo-fighter named B-127 - and sends him to a newly discovered planet full of creatures called humans and strange unreasonable cars and trucks. B-127 must establish a base on this planet, protect its inhabitants and wait for the surviving Autobots to arrive at the site. The B-127 is going to fly... with a vigilant Decepticon not far behind. After some time on planet Earth, a teenager from the San Francisco Bay Area named Charlie needs a car. She may look like an ordinary, awkward teenage girl, dressed in cool band T-shirts and with disheveled hair, moonlighting at a local hot dog stand, but deep down she is... well, just the way she is. She doesn't stand out in any way. She is emotionally experiencing the recent death of her beloved father. She is confused, impatient and feels out of place.
