Plot of the film "How to Train Your Dragon: Homecoming"
It's Snoggletog time on Burke Island, but not everything is so rosy and fun. Vikings and dragons have been living separately for many years, and the younger members of the tribe are beginning to return to the past fearful thinking, treating giant monsters with suspicion and cruelty. Hiccup, with the help of Gobber, plans to arrange a grand festive performance to teach the children and remind the villagers of the connection established between humans and dragons. But things are not going quite as planned. In fact, everything ends in fiery chaos. But Toothless appears just in time to save the situation, and the performance is a great success. Later, Hiccup and his family return home to find that the dragons have accepted their gift in the form of snacks. The overall storyline was logical and created a compelling problem. Hiccup and Astrid, of course, love dragons, but now that their children are growing up without great beasts, how will they treat dragons: as fast friends or as fiery fans? Zephyr, in particular, is against the idea of dragons, and it's not hard to see why. Given their enormous size, sharp claws, and a long history of removing limbs from Vikings, one could argue that she sees clearly. But, not knowing any dragon personally, this is an uninformed opinion that Hiccup seeks to correct.
