Plot of the film "Hellboy"

Our story begins in 517 AD, when the evil Bloody Queen Vivienne Nimue unleashes a raid on England. She goes to all the forces united against her, until King Arthur stops her. With the help of Ganeida, another witch from the Nimue coven, they kill her. Arthur dismembers Nimue with his magic sword Excalibur. Then he scatters her remains all over the world so that she will never threaten the human race again. The film then moves to modern-day Tijuana, Mexico. Hellboy, investigating paranormal phenomena, tracks down his friend and colleague Esteban Ruiz. Esteban disappeared during the mission, but our hero finds him at a Mexican wrestling match. There he kills his friend after learning that Esteban is now a vampire. Before he dies, Esteban tells Hellboy that the end is near. Depressed, he gets drunk to unconsciousness when the Bureau of Research and Protection against Paranormal Phenomena calls him back to Colorado. His adoptive father and B.P.R.D. supervisor Trevor "Broom" Bruttenholm sends Hellboy on a new assignment to the UK. He must help the Osiris Club, the British equivalent of B.P.R.D., track down and kill three giants. While at the Osiris Club, the club's seer Lady Hatton learns that Broome was originally ordered to kill the little demon. In the 1940s, he was part of the Nazi Ragna Rock project. However, Broome spared the demon's life and decided to raise him as his own son.
