Plot of the film "The Last Duel"

The film "The Last Duel 2021" tells about the confrontation between a Norman knight and his opponent — Jean Le Gris. The reason for the conflict is a Norman woman who claims that one of the knights mocked her while her husband was absent. Jean De Carrouge, returning home, finds out that his beloved has been raped by the enemy. Male anger has no equal. In order to protect the honor of his beloved and not to discredit his own name, a petition is drawn up to the ruler of France. During this time, the question becomes clearer and the interpretation of what happened changes: they say that Allegri has nothing to do with it, the young lady who seduced the warrior is to blame for everything. The king, having studied the testimonies of the participants, appoints a duel between the fighters, which will clarify who is right. Now the life of the family depends on the result of the battle. If the spouse is killed, the wife will be burned at the stake for slanderous testimony. What will be the outcome? Will the truth be revealed? How will the fate of the heroes develop in connection with the events taking place?
