Plot of the film "The Humans"
Thanksgiving is a family holiday, when the whole family gathers at the table. It is a clean and bright evening when the dwelling is filled with joyful laughter and the patter of many small feet. Eric Blake is a lonely man who decided to gather his family at the same table on this sacred day. His daughter lives with her husband and child in a neighboring city, in Manhattan, extremely rarely visited his own father. His wife had long since passed into another world, so his arrival was supposed to be a surprise, which the young couple was not very happy about. Dinner was full of awkwardness and smiles on duty. A little later, secrets and a veil over their relationship are revealed, which seem ideal in the light of the public. Under the cover of night, all purulent boils and wounds inflicted on each other's hearts are opened. The gifts that they will give to each other will dispel their previous feelings with the first rays of the sun. This is the death of the old and the birth of the new, when ties are torn and formed.
