Those Who Wish Me Dead

Hannah Faber is a heavy drinker, living beyond her means, one of those brave firefighters who drop helicopters in the middle of burning forests. This job attracts a certain type of people, and Hannah, judging by her appearance, when we first meet her in the movie "Those who Wish Me Dead", is just such a person. She has a reputation for being crazier than the rest, so "crazy" that she failed her last psychology exam after a catastrophic failure during a fire that killed several children. Meanwhile, she was demoted (as she believes) to one of the fire towers, standing as a lonely outpost in the middle of the forest along the Continental Ridge, where its task is to monitor the weather and conduct surveillance. She is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, but she wants to return to action. The situation in the film "Those who Wish Me Dead", adapted from the novel by Michael Korita, gives her more than just an opportunity to prove herself.
