A Mouthful of Air

The central place in the plot is occupied by a successful author and illustrator of children's publications, suffering from postpartum depressive disorder. A woman's happiness consists of a beautiful son Teddy and a loving husband Ethan, but she believes that she cannot pay enough attention to them. The mental health of a married lady is deteriorating and this forces her to seek help from a family doctor. The specialist, after talking with the patient, persuades Julie to continue taking antidepressants. The life of the heroine and her family changes after she attempts suicide. She shocks the spouse, who did not know what was happening to his wife. Moreover, soon after the birth of the baby, she realizes that she will soon become a mother again. And this means that she is again in a dangerous position. Unable to recover from what is happening, the couple tries to change the situation and is offered a move to a new house, but Julie is not happy about it.
