The Weekend Away

Beth lives in London. The girl has an attractive appearance, has been happily married for several years and is raising a daughter. But one day her childhood friend Kate calls her. The ladies were very close in their youth, but after a while their paths diverged. The young ladies still continued to communicate even at a distance. The main character was glad to hear from an old acquaintance. Kate decided to invite a friend to visit her in Croatia for the weekend. She gladly agreed. Upon arrival, the girls went to a nightclub to have a great bachelorette party. It was fun, music was playing, delicious food and drinks, everything went according to plan. But the central figures could not imagine that something terrible could happen. The next morning, Beth woke up and saw that her friend was not at home. She's gone. This situation seems strange to her and the young lady goes to the police to write a missing person report. Law enforcement agencies are trying to convince that nothing terrible has happened and maybe the missing person is with some friend. The officer assumes that in a few hours the girl will show up. Beth knows Kate very well and is sure that a friend could not do that. Something has happened to her and we need to find her immediately. The main character catches a taxi and goes in search of a missing friend.
