Plot of the film "The Curse of Bridge Hollow"
Fourteen-year-old teenage girl Sydney moves with her parents from New York to the quiet and cozy town of Bridge Hollow, which has held the title of the safest city in the United States for the past ten years. At first, the girl did not really like her new place, but soon she changes her mind for the better, along the way, making new friends. Meanwhile, Halloween is approaching, and work is in full swing in the town to prepare for it: the streets are decorated with pumpkin lanterns, and the city park is decorated with full-length figures of zombies and other monsters. The girl is looking forward to the holiday, although it all seems ridiculous to her father - he is an inveterate rationalist and skeptic who does not believe in any mysticism. And in the midst of the holiday, Sydney and her friends learn about a local legend, according to which the ghost of Stingy Jack lives in one of the abandoned houses of the city, on which an old curse is imposed. Out of curiosity, the children climb there and find a strange lantern in one of the rooms. Taking it home, the Sidneys decide to light it, but at that moment the disturbed ghost breaks free from there, bringing the curse into action. Now the girl and her father will have to bravely fight with revived zombies, killer clowns and giant spiders that have captured the city…
