Plot of the film "The Aftermath"

Germany after World War II. The country is in disorder, devastation, famine. The main character is British soldier Lewis Morgan, who has been appointed interim mayor of Hamburg. He will have to rebuild the city almost from scratch. Together with his wife, Lewis settles into a luxurious mansion where a German architect lives with an emotionally unstable daughter. Will former enemies be able to get along under one roof, or will the desire for revenge be stronger?
