Plot of the film "News of the World"
The film ”News from all over the World" tells about Captain Jefferson Kyle Kidd, who, according to him, we quote: "would read the news to anyone who has 10 cents and time to listen." This is a unique and fascinating offer. Given that it was around 1870, and not everyone could read, and newspapers were not readily available, Captain Kidd often had a huge audience to serve. The civil war ended a few years ago, but the country was still struggling to get back on its feet. The riots were obvious. A state of tension persisted. It was still very difficult for the Government to fight fanaticism and prejudice among the people. Society did not hesitate to shed blood in the name of race and religion. In this tense state, our gentle and wise captain travels from one country to another, reading the news as extravagantly as he could. Captain Kidd, traveling from one place to another, finds the dead body of a colored man hanging from a tree. He finds a little scared girl hiding in the bushes. She raises her guard and does not allow the captain to approach her. Government officials arrive at the scene, and it is decided that the captain will leave the girl to an Indian agent, who will leave her to relatives. But fate decreed otherwise. There was a waiting period until the agent arrived, and until then the captain had to keep her with him. He's trying to leave her with a friend again.
