Plot of the film "Monster Hunter"
A group of soldiers investigating the disappearance of another team finds themselves transported to another world where there are giant scaly monsters on which bullets have minimal impact. Their captain, Natalie Artemis, was lucky to survive. But the question is, how does she get home, and given how she got there, does that mean that monsters in this world can haunt her? So many people die in this movie, and you barely recognize their names, much less something about them, so it's hard to worry. Most of them, like TI and Megan Goode, excite you because you know their characters. But if someone else was playing Link or the character Goode? Like other team members, you wouldn't remember anything about them and most likely wouldn't be able to pick their face in the queue. For most of the movie, you watch Natalie struggling in this new world, trying not to get killed by spider-like monsters, trying to kill a desert monster, and at the same time learning to fight in this new world from Hunter. All this takes at least an hour, and maybe a little more than a movie. Then begins an explanation of how Natalie and her team got into this world, and the importance of this ancient tower that allows all this to happen.
