Plot of the film "Old"
At the very beginning of the film, we get acquainted with a cute couple and their two children who check into a tropical hotel called "Anamika" - a wild month for resorts, by the way, with "White Lotus" and "Nine Perfect Strangers" - and soon after their arrival, the resort manager tells them in quiet tones about a secret beach nearby. He tells them that he does not disclose the location of this pearl to anyone, but now he is forced to do so. He offers a vague explanation. But neither Guy Kappa (Gael Garcia Bernal) nor his wife Prisca (Vicky Krips) bother to ask him why they were granted this special privilege. The next day, the Kappas go to the beach (the driver, played by Shyamalan in his usual cameo), where they are joined by a rich doctor with his trophy wife, a rapper who is out of his mind, and a middle-aged couple with skills that will come in handy later when the plot requires a quick solution to problems. The group understands that the beach has mysterious properties - it quickly accelerates the aging process of everyone who is on it, in fact, reducing the average life expectancy of a person to 24 hours. An interesting movie that will keep you in suspense throughout the plot.
