Wish Dragon

The film opens in a cloudy, otherworldly realm. A man sees the gates to the afterlife in front of him, but when he approaches them, they close. A towering god stands in front of a man, playing a pipa. When a person demands to be let through the gate, God plays the pipa and performs magic on him. On Earth, we meet a boy named Dean Song, who lives with his mother. He made friends with a naughty girl named Li Na Wang, who lives with her rich father, who almost never has time for her. The two children spend several years together as best friends until the day Mr. Wang forces Li Na to move in with him, forcing her to say goodbye to Dean and leaving him lonely again. However, they promise to keep their friendship. Ten years later, Dean works as a food delivery man, paying more attention to work than to study. He asks a friend named Wei to bring him homework. The last delivery forces him to go to the destroyed building, where a homeless man asks him to make an order. He gives Dean the teapot, and he disappears into thin air. Dean returns home to his mom and neighbors who are going to dinner, and everyone thinks Dean is a genius on the way to a great career. Everything goes wrong when Wei comes and tells that Dean is skipping classes, which infuriates Mrs. Song.
