Plot of the film "Don't Breathe 2"
The action of the film "Don't Breathe 2" takes place eight years after the events of the first film - which, if you follow the events, actually takes it into the near future. A house fire left a little girl orphaned and alone in the middle of the street; Norman picked her up, took her home and raised her as his own daughter. He also called her Phoenix, which is not accidental at all. Meanwhile, the Rottweiler who follows her everywhere and protects her is called Shadow, and from that moment on, the film finds a way to become even less subtle. Norman keeps her imprisoned in their dilapidated Detroit house, but now that Phoenix has become a little girl, she desperately wants to live a normal life, make friends and attend school. During one of her weekly business trips with a trusted friend, we see why the outside world is so dangerous. When a group of idiot tweakers follow Phoenix home, led by the bumbling Brendan Sexton III, we eventually find out what they're really doing there. The resulting twists vary from intriguing to insane, but they change everything, turning a fairly standard thriller with a home invasion into something wilder, stranger and - at times - darkly funny. In the first half of the film, Sayags uses silence, creaking doors and unhurried steps, which are replaced by terrible, bloody violence and bright sound design, when Norman fights off the attackers and outwits them.
