A reasonable person for a hundred thousand years of his habitation on Earth has made an incredible number of scientific discoveries, created a lot of inventions and various intellectual pictures of the world. However, being face to face with the unknown, a person somehow loses his usual self-confidence and turns into a rather weak, frightened animal. Dark streets and gloomy corners hide many secrets and the most terrible stories. One of these terrible fairy tales was prepared for us by Scott Derrickson in his film "Black Phone". The events of the film take place in 1978 in the United States of America. On the streets at this time, a child abductor maniac is operating, doing his vile deeds, dressing up as an animator for children's holidays. Due to the inattention of the police to the testimony of individual witnesses, five children disappear in turn in the city, after which a maniac kidnaps a boy named Finny - the main character. When the protagonist wakes up, he finds himself in a gloomy soundproof room. The only thing that stands out in the room is a black non-working phone hanging on the wall. However, at one point the phone rings and Finney discovers that he is communicating with the former victims of the criminal...
