The Good House

The film, authored by Maya Forbes and Wally Volodarsky, warmly received by critics, is based on the book of the same name by the writer Ann Leary. He tells us about the heroine Hildy Goode, played by Sigourney Weaver, already known for her role in the Alien film series. According to the plot, Hildy is the best and most sought-after realtor of her city, but due to life difficulties, in the form of a divorce from her husband, played by Kevin Kline, has big problems with alcohol. In parallel with the rehabilitation of the main character, her former assistant, Wendy, will do everything possible to prevent Hildy from living a normal life, stealing all her clients. Gradually, the film will introduce us to the actress Morena Baccarin, who plays a young girl here, Rebecca, Hildy's client, to whom she sells a house. Later it turns out that Rebecca is cheating on her husband with a local psychologist named Peter, and later Hildy uses this information to blackmail him, because Peter decides to sell his house, but as a realtor he will hire not her, but the ill-fated Wendy. During the film, the painful topic of alcohol will be revealed, because in all this turmoil Hildy Goode will gradually "go crazy" and do rather strange things.
