Brazen

The film Payback for Sins, based on the novel by Nora Roberts, mixes online kink with murder and mystery. The film lasts 1 hour 36 minutes and has a wonderful cast, including Alyssa Milano, Sam Page and Emilia Ullerup. In this story, we follow the heroine Grace Miller, a famous writer whose popular novels are devoted to the murders of women, as she solves the case of her murdered sister. Very early on we see her rushing to help her sister, despite the fact that she does not agree with her past life choices and has not seen her for five years. Her sister's double life as a webcam performer is revealed shortly before her murder. Other women who live similar lives and speak on webcams become victims of murder. Grace believes she can get into the killer's mind, and with the help of her new love interest, a detective, she works undercover as a webcam girl to find a serial killer of webcam girls. The plot is not as exciting as I thought - it doesn't take much time to figure out who the killer is. The fact that Grace became a "bait" for the killer, and even was admitted to this case, does not make any logical sense. Therefore, it is difficult to believe in the film, and it acquires the atmosphere of a vulgar, cheap thriller. There is a complete lack of verisimilitude throughout the film, but if you can get over it, it will be a good movie to watch.
