The Night of the 12th

On the evening of October 12, the entire police of the city of Grenoble loudly celebrated the retirement of the chief. An emergency service phone receives a call with cries for help. A terrible incident happened: a young girl was burned alive. The burned woman's name was Clara Roye. She was returning home after a party with friends. Her body was found in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne not far from the apartment where she spent time in a noisy company. Police investigator Johan was assigned to investigate the terrible murder of a twenty-one-year-old deceased. Collecting information bit by bit, Johan learns that before Clara died, she made a video call to Stephanie's best friend. Soon after the call, she meets a stranger who pours gasoline on the murdered woman and sets her on fire. At this point, the investigation comes to a dead end, because the criminal did not leave a single trace at the crime scene. Step by step, the detective is trying to unravel the motive of the terrible burning. But the constant interrogations and the change of suspects leads the case to a dead end. The policeman loses his peace of mind and faith that the murderer of the young lady will be found. In the work of an investigator, crimes happen that he cannot unravel for many years.
