John Wick

John Wick crashes an SUV into a wall. He staggers out of the car, bloodied and wounded. He presses on the knife wound in his stomach. Crawling away, he pulls out his phone and watches a video of his wife Helen on the beach. John falls down and closes his eyes. Just a few days ago, John woke up on a cloudy day. Memories of how he was with Helen pop up in his memory, until recently, when she fainted in his arms. She had an illness that eventually claimed her life. Today is the day of her funeral. After the service, John is approached by his old friend Marcus to express his condolences. That evening, John receives a package. It's a little beagle. John finds a note from Helen. She writes to him that she has reconciled herself to her death and now wants John to find his own. John is crying. He picks up the dog and looks at her collar, which depicts a flower, and John guesses that Helen named the dog Daisy. Daisy follows John on his day when he drives out in his Mustang. He stops to refuel at the same time with three Russian mafiosi, including Joseph Tarasov, the son of mafia boss Viggo Tarasov. Joseph walks up to John's car and praises it, and then asks how much he wants for it. John replies that it is not for sale. Then Joseph approaches Daisy, but John scares him away. One of Joseph's friends looks into the car and wishes John a good day.
