Plot of the film "Minions: The Rise of Gru"

This cartoon shows the actions that took place back in 1976, long before what is shown in the first picture. Here, 12-year-old Gru, being a fan of the villainous group "The Evil Six", tries to become very evil in order to become a member of their team. After the "six" got rid of their leader Knuckles, Gru got a chance to get an interview. Although the interview was not a success, Gru managed to steal the amulet from the villains together with Stuart, Bob and Kevin. Upon learning of this, Knuckles kidnaps Gru, threatening to kill him if he does not return the amulet. The minions go in search of a friend to save him from the villain. Meanwhile, Gru and Knuckles became friends after the former saved Wilde Knuckles from a crocodile. Now together they are ready to confront the "Evil Six" who are hunting for the stolen amulet. Thus, Gru and minions gain support where they did not expect it at all. It turned out that even villains need friendly support.
